This photo was taken by Marcial Lopez, Master Stonemason at the Cathedral Workshop in Basel, who, together with his friends at Vitoria Cathedral, provided an enchanting and very special place for the meeting of the Chairmanship in April 2012.

These imposing measures were taken by the authorities to ensure the stability of the Cathedral. The relatively insecure subsoil has presented problems for centuries.
