 The master
builder of cathedrals Juergen Prigl from Soest was presented with a
copy of the medal of the Nobel Peace Prize. The prize which went to
the European Community in 2012 actually belongs to every European
according to Peter Liese MEP (CDU). For this reason his
parliamentary group have had bronze copies of the medal made in
order to present them to citizens who have made outstanding
contributions to European integration.
Prigl received
one of seven copies in Liese’s south Westphalian constituency,
because he has made an outstanding contribution to the European
unification of creative crafts and thus to cooperation in Europe.
Prigl is one of the founding members of the European Association of
Building Crafts and Design (EACD), Past-President and Chairman of
the Committee.
